Edit

Displays the edit form which allows a Member to change the properties of an existing Item.

If a Member has Edit permissions on an Item, an Edit button is displayed near the top of the screen. Clicking on this button displays the edit form. The edit form is similar for most Items, but since Items have different properties, each form is slightly different. Please refer to the individual Item help page for specifics on each Item. The edit form contains an OK and Cancel button near the bottom of the screen. A Member confirms changes to the Item by clicking the OK button, or discards the changes by clicking the Cancel button.

Items contain at least one property which is required, these property headings are coloured red. If values for required properties are not entered (or other validation conditions are not met) a dialog box is displayed indicating which properties are incomplete or invalid and the changes are not submitted until these have been rectified and the form is resubmitted.
