Clicking on the Create button displays a page listed the top level Items. Selecting one of the top level Items displays the create form which allows a Member to add a new Item.
If a Member has Create permissions on an Item, a Create button is displayed near the top of the screen. Clicking on this button displays the create form. The create form is similar for most Items, but since Items have different properties, each form is slightly different. Please refer to the individual Item help page for specifics on each Item. The edit form contains an OK and Cancel button near the bottom of the screen. A Member confirms the additional of the Item by clicking the OK button, or discards the creation of a new Item by clicking the Cancel button.
Items contain at least one property which is required, these property headings are coloured red. If values for required properties are not entered (or other validation conditions are not met) a dialog box is displayed indicating which properties are incomplete or invalid and the Item is not created until these have been rectified and the form is resubmitted.
