Presentation configures how an Item is displayed on screen. The configuration options are categorized by Manage Page Theme (advanced css options), Branding (the look and feel), Content (the display of content related to the Item), Annotations (the support of additional annotations) and Navigator (what is displayed in the navigator toolbar).
You can customize the presentation of an Item by clicking on the "Change its appearance" button under the Options menu.
The majority of the following options listed below include two dropdowns used to specify the settings. The first drop down contains a Default setting plus a list of settings specific to each of the options (described below). If the Default setting is selected, the application default setting for the option is used (or in the case where an ancestor of the Item has the cascading turned on, the setting for the ancestor is used). The second dropdown contains a list of fixed settings for the cascading type: No Cascade, Cascade All and Cascade descendants. No Cascade only applies the setting to this Item, Cascade All applies the setting to this Item and all of its descendants and Cascade Descendants only applies the setting to desceding items (it does not apply the setting to this Item).
