Can't Remove ESOP Program From My Tasks

Hi,
I have these two tasks that I can't figure out how to remove (when I click them I'm told I don't have the right permissions):

01/09/2007
Open
Enroll in ESOP
Be sure to enroll in our ESOP program before Friday

How can I get rid of them?

Just to note:

I just opened a new account and saw there was a trash can, so I deleted the example ESOP folder and the tasks were removed.

However, in my account I don't have a trash can on my workspace?!

Hi Jeremy,

Your account should have been created with a Trash can.

Re-create it: from the top level of your workspace, click on Create and select Trash and name it "Trash". Create a temporary item in your workspace and delete it. Verify it has been placed in your Trash.
