Hey there

I found description for Video/Audio-Stream-embedding. (Easy)

But: If I want to embedd a Code via the HTML-Editor, it works or the Editing-Window, but in the post of the Discussion, the part gets deleted... Why? Principly, shouldn't it work without problems?

Example:

http://www.mx3.ch/playlist/show_cube/51990   (Embed-Codes could be found there.)

or:

Vimeo-Hubnut-Widget (Java-Application) (see your Vimeo-Account to test it)

These are the two cases we would like to use for our work. Just examples.

Thanks for your help!

Hi Julian,

Are you saying that the tag gets stripped from the html editor when inserting it in a blog? I've just tested inserting the following example from the Embedding Media in HTML help into a blog entry and it works fine:

No, as I said, embedding videos/audio is not the problem...

the concrete examples where, as it seems, a flash-code and a java-application...

mx3-Cube:  code

Vimeo-Hubnut: Code

-> see your own Vimeo-Account (Tools -> Widgets) to creat code...

Aim:

Embedd these two thins in a post of a Discussion/Topic, for example...

-> as I said, not just simple Audio/Video, a single video of vimeo, for instance, as your aswer was concerned about.

Thanks

Hi Julian,

As outlined in the previous post:

Sosius automatically strips and tags in html content which are normally used to display multimedia content as there are associated security issues with the use of such tags:

At this point in time, I'm sorry there is no way to embed custom objects in html.

Kind regards,
Michael
