This example shows the sign-up rates of a website's members to a new service over a 24 hour period. It clearly shows who the new service appeals to and when they are logging in, allowing the website owners to manage special offers better and consider how to broaden the appeal of the service to other demographies.  Similar Fractal Maps could be used to analyze many facets of online and social media activity patterns and trends.
